  • First ensure students are confident with grammar point ‘What time is it now?’
  • Hand out half of the students with A worksheet and half with B worksheet, practice repeating dialogue.
  • Ensure students can pronounce cities names and understand the meaning of morning, afternoon and evening.

Q:  What time is it in Los Angeles now?

A:  It’s four o’clock in the afternoon.

  • Students compete top part of worksheet writing 4 practice sentences.
  • Next organize students in pairs, have them janken, winner can go first then take turns asking each other the times of the four cities absent from their worksheets.
  • Once the students have completed their worksheets, select volunteers to demonstrate dialogue to class.
