Containing the only planetarium in Kobe, the Bando Kobe Science Museum is a great place for everyone young and old to learn about science. There are six exhibition rooms with loads of information about different aspects of science, as well as a planetarium that projects about 25,000 stars on a dome

9:30 am-4:30pm (MTTh)

9:30 am-7:00pm (Fri,weekends, holidays, spring/summer break)

*Children JHS and under must be accompanied by an adult when entering after 6. 

Closed Wednesdays (except for holidays/break, in which case the next available day is closed), New Year's Holiday (12/28-1/4)

"Family Outing Energy-Saving Campaign": From July 8th, 2017 to August 31st, 2017, the museum is offering a special summer discount on the Exhibition Hall! Admission for adults is 480 円, and for children is 210 円. (Cannot be combined with other discounts.)Toddlers and infants gain free admission. Groups must consist of 30 or more and must call in advance.
